Our technology advisory-services team must by able to utilize multiple architectural components across various data environments, applications, and business lines in the design and development of client requirements. The Pega System Architects need to be able to code solutions and unit tests to deliver requirements per the defined criteria and business/technical requirements. The Pega Architects will also assist in fine tuning the system from a performance standpoint and managing system administration functions. Lastly, the architects will document and communicate required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality.
The Work You Will Do at Bip.Monticello:
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for end-to-end ownership of the architecture and design of the PEGA PRPC (Pega Rules Process Commander) implementation and/or Pega packaged solutions.
- Technical design for the Pega implementation based on the business processes defined with the overall ownership of the technical design document for the program.
- Rule set design and governance to ensure the rule sets are developed appropriately in the respective layers to align with ‘enterprise’s reusability’ needs.
- Perform code reviews and ensure the solution is in compliance with Pega guardrails with a healthy guardrail score, review alert logs, etc..
- Work with the business stakeholders and development teams to ensure that designs effectively accommodate long-term maintainability, supportability, robustness, and scalability of software solutions.
- Own regular deployments from test to production environments.
- Evaluating merits and risks of upgrades; coordinating with appropriate stakeholders to execute patches to deployed applications; along with monitoring day-to-day operational health of deployed applications.
- Responsible for updating appropriate system level and knowledge base documentation.
- Work closely with development team on performance improving solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 4+ years of relevant technical implementation experience.
- Should have PCSSA (Pega Certified Senior System Architect) certification.
- Direct experience in end-to-end PRPC lifecycle - design, development, coding, testing, and debugging skills in PEGA 8.x.
- Expertise in PRPC Integration with external systems in an enterprise environment.
- Knowledgeable in estimation, performance tuning, and deployment processes.
- Strong Troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
- Knowledge on DevOps implementation for Pega applications.
- Preferred to have experience with distributed development teams which span multiple geographies and time zones.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Experience in J2EE application development is a plus.
Knowledge of RPA, AI, ML, NLP is a plus.
Direct experience with the Pega CLM (Client Lifecycle Management) packaged solution is a plus.
Pega CLSA (Certified Pega Lead System Architect) is a plus.
**The base salary range for this role is $90,000-$130,000**
